The very popular Hoka Mach trainer now sports a Pebax® propulsion plate and transforms into a pace-pushing new racer: Mach X. The new resilient PEBA midsole provides softer yet snappier cushioning to enhance your propulsive ride and accelerate your speed. A perfect race day shoe for runners wanting to take their running to the next level or extending their endurance efforts.
Details
The Pebax® propulsion fibre plate sits between two layers of lightweight cushioning which ensures forward propulsion with each stride. The Pebax plate propels you through your stride and on to your toes to accelerate your speed and that way to help you to archive your new goals. The early stage Meta-Rocker system rocks your feet forwards to maximise your running efficiency.
The new PEBA midsole is 34% more resilient than the Carbon X 3 foam, providing you with better rebound and therefore empowering the propulsive aspect of Pebax plate.
The Jacquard mesh upper has been engineered to maintain your feet in a secure hold. It also promotes breathability. The Gusseted tongue and soft sockliner maintain a secure fit combined with superior comfort.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
