The updated engineered mesh upper is more breathable with a new sleek fit. These new updates will keep your feet more ventilated and held in a secure fit, preventing any unwanted movement. The engineered mesh material is designed to be lightweight and flexible, providing a natural feel while still offering support and durability. With these improvements you can enjoy a cooler and more comfortable experience on your runs.
The Standard FootShape™ Fit follows the shape of your foot. It is broader in the toe area to your toes more space to spread, whilst still providing a secure structure for your foot. The Standard FootShape™ Fit also helps to prevent issues such as bunions, hammertoes, and other foot issues that can result from wearing shoes that are too narrow or constricting.
Midsole:
Altra's responsive Altra EGO™ midsole provides a comfortable and springy ride. The zero-drop platform promotes a more stable base for your foot, allowing for better balance and control during high-impact activities. It also encouraging a midfoot landing to allow a natural running gait.
Outersole:
The flex grooves increase flexibility of the outsole and that way offer you a more comfortable experience while you are running or walking. They help the shoe to bend and flex with your foot, providing a more dynamic and responsive feel.

Altra was born of the research and curiosity of Golden Harper who, determined to improve his running experience, decided to create a shoe with Zero Drop. All it took was an oven toaster and an existing shoe to remove the midsole, and Voilà! He gave birth to the first Altra running shoe, changing the world of running.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
