Description
The junior version of the adult’s Asics GT 1000 11 is a premium anti-pronation road running shoe for children. The Rearfoot GEL cushioning absorbs impact and provides comfort. The new LiteTruss technology utilises Duaomax to hold the arches steady, preventing them from rolling.
Details
The Duomax support system is now integrated with the Trustic technology to encourage a smooth, easy ride. It is located on the medial side in the midsole under the arch area, to support and hold the feet upright and to prevent them from rolling inwards which can cause discomfort.
The Rearfoot Gel technology in the midsole absorbs the impact of running on hard surfaces and protects young legs. A breathable mesh upper ventilates the feet to prevent sweat being trapped. It also adjusts to the shape of the feet shape by stretching where needed.
The removable sockliner can be replaced with an orthotic insole if needed.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
