The legendary Mizuno Wave Inspire 21 offers more rebound, smoother transitions, and enhanced comfort—key features of this exceptional women’s road running shoe. Built with supportive technology to reduce over-pronation, it combines a soft and responsive top layer of Enerzy foam for premium step-in comfort and energy return. The new Enerzy NXT foam in the bottom layer adds responsiveness for an effortless push-off. Enhanced Wave technology not only provides a smooth transition though your stride but also essential support to help control any over-pronation.

Upper:
The AIRmesh upper guarantees excellent breathability, keeping your feet cool and comfortable while offering a secure fit that holds them in place, enhancing overall comfort with a precise structure.
Midsole:
The midsole in this latest version has been completely restructured, designed to deliver the ideal balance of softness, responsiveness, and support for smooth weight transfer with each stride you take. The top layer features ENERZY foam, providing high energy return and ultra-soft cushioning for premium comfort. The bottom layer is crafted from the new Enerzy NXT blend, resulting in responsiveness and exceptional rebound.
Mizuno’s supportive Wave plate is positioned between these two cushioning layers. Its updated asymmetrical design gives a smoother ride and helps reduce over-pronation, or excessive inward rolling of your arches. Together, this enhanced support and the new Enerzy NXT foam elevate your running experience to even greater comfort and stability.
Outersole:
The X10 material is a highly durable carbon rubber used on the outsole. It extends the lifespan of this excellent trainer and offers exceptional traction on any road surface.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
