Description
The Superfly Elite 2 is the premium racing spike from Nike, designed for athletes to tackle 100 to 400m track distances. Packed with the many technical details, this version is lighter then ever due to the new ultra-lightweight Flyknit upper which keeps your feet cool. The updated outsole is also lighter and stiffer than in its predecessor to empower your runs with the speed.
Details
Nike used data from hundreds of sprinters to improve the spike plate on Superfly Elite 2. This new outsole keeps its old design where the zones of flexibility alternate with the zones of stiffness to maximize your performance. But it is even lighter and stiffer in comparison to its previous version to support you in your fastest speed.
The new Flyknit upper is feather light, flexible and ultra breathable. The new mesh with the minimal water absorption properties is shaped to contour your feet and keep them ventilated.
An upgraded, feather-light spike plate includes 8 removable pins to provide an ideal grip and to power you from your explosive start out of the blocks through and around the turns to the completion.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
