Description
The women's Carrera XC4 cross country spike from Saucony is built for races on mud or grass. The new Pebax® spike plate is engineered for flexibility and reliable traction. Six spikes per shoe ensure grip on soft terrain. The ISO-Fit lacing technology accommodates different foot shapes for a customised fit.

Saucony have upgraded the Pebax® spike plate to provide you extra durability and increased traction - so you can tackle any cross country course with confidence.
The one piece upper is lightweight with minimal layering and no sew flex film overlays for performance-driven comfort and fit. The ISOFIT lacing system offers a dynamic structure created by adjusting to the shape and movement of your foot. A lightweight padding has been added on the tongue and heel for additional comfort.
A lightweight midsole foam provides protection and an element of cushioning.

Saucony was founded way back in 1898. Since then, they have been loyal to running, continuing to innovate and renew themselves, and to incorporate more sustainable running gear into their range. By 2024 their goal is to use no virgin plastic, and by 2030 to be 100% circular.
Behind their “Run for Good” logo hides a passion for creating the best footwear, while still maintaining their distinguished designs. These are characterised by a use of colour and not being afraid to break the mould.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
