The Saucony Ride RFG is an environmentally conscious neutral road running shoe. Crafted with sustainable materials and technologies to provide comfort and ensure performance. The breathable upper is seamless, soft, and provides a secure structure for your feet. The PWRRUN BIO+ midsole offers sustainable cushioning which is bouncy, with great impact absorption.

Upper:
The upper is crafted partially from recycled yarns and dyed with plant-based dyes, ensuring sustainability and comfort. Designed with a seamless construction, it offers a precise fit and is breathable for ultimate comfort.
Midsole:
The PWRRUN BIO+ midsole is sustainable without compromising performance. Made from 55% corn-based materials, it reflects a commitment to reducing environmental impact while maintaining a high level of comfort. It gives a soft feeling underfoot and absorbs the impact from hard surfaces to offer a smooth-running experience.
Outersole:
The Gum rubber outsole is durable and resistant to wear. It also provides excellent traction and flexibility to prevent you sliding on road surfaces. Due to its sustainable nature, it becomes more distinctive as it ages. Over time, the natural rubber can change in colour and texture due to exposure to elements like dirt, and moisture, however this will not affect its performance.

Saucony was founded way back in 1898. Since then, they have been loyal to running, continuing to innovate and renew themselves, and to incorporate more sustainable running gear into their range. By 2024 their goal is to use no virgin plastic, and by 2030 to be 100% circular.
Behind their “Run for Good” logo hides a passion for creating the best footwear, while still maintaining their distinguished designs. These are characterised by a use of colour and not being afraid to break the mould.
In their effort to support sustainability, many of their popular running shoes have started using 100% recycled uppers, like their Saucony Endorphin Collection, Triumph, Omni, Kinvara or Excursion. We are excited to see that their road and trail running shoes are moving in the right direction.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR RUNNING SHOES
Your running shoe size will generally be 1 to 1.5 sizes bigger than your regular (‘dress’) shoe size. Bear in mind also that one foot can be slightly bigger than the other.
LENGTH
First, kick your foot back into the heel of each shoe before checking how much space is left at the front. When standing in each shoe with your full weight on the foot, it’s best to have between half and a full thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
WIDTH
When standing in the shoe, it’s best to have a little wiggle room for the toes, but the back of heel should still feel nicely secure.
SPIKES
Sprint spikes are best when a close fit. Distance spikes best when up to a half a thumb's width between the end of the longest toe and the end of the shoe.
