One of the more central London running clubs, London Frontrunners were set up for LGBT runners but that doesn't mean that straight people are excluded, not a bit. They are a very friendly, welcoming club, with an active social scene. They compete in a lot of races and have a real mix of abilities from brand new runners to competitive athletes, but everyone is equally valued. We would recommend this club to anyone who needs encouragement in their running or wants to find a club that helps them take on new challenges and try out racing.
The London Frontrunners is London's only running club for LGBT+ people who love running. Our members range from recreational joggers to competitive road and cross-country racers and marathon runners. Regardless of your level of fitness, your pace or you preferred distance you will find members to run and train with. We have regular runs four times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays) in two of London's most beautiful parks (Regent's Park and Hyde Park) and along the South Bank. The distances normally range from 2 to 6 miles and we have between 20 to 40 runners at each session. We also offer track and coaching sessions twice a week at Mile End stadium and Parliament Hill.
But, don't worry London Frontrunners isn't all about running. We also have dinner and brunch after the runs in pubs or breakfast places near the changing facilities, regular social events and organise international and domestic trips.
