The forefoot is 9% firmer than its predecessor, which enhances energy-return, providing a more responsive and livelier feel during your runs. This improvement can help to enhance your performance by allowing quicker transitions and more explosive toe-offs.

The increased sidewall height helps prevent lateral movement, keeping your feet more secure inside the shoe. Additionally, the refined vertical sidewall improves the shoe’s overall fit and comfort, by creating a snugger hold around your foot.

The Fresh Foam X 1080v14 adheres to New Balance's Green Leaf standard. The upper is made from 50% or more recycled plastic, while the midsole contains at least 3% bio-based and/or 5% recycled materials.

Outersole:

Durable anti-slip rubber is placed in the areas with high wear.
