I've tried the New Balance 880v14 which was great for short easy runs, but I wanted to try something with more cushioning, so I tested out the 1080v14.
When running and even walking on the pavement, this shoe felt comfortable, lightweight, and bouncy. It fits my foot like a glove and barely feels like I am wearing a shoe! I could wear them for a long time, and they will still feel great on my feet.
In conclusion, the Fresh Foam X 1080v14 is a great everyday neutral road running shoe. It is perfect for long walks and runs, providing a lightweight, natural, soft, and bouncy feel whilst remaining quite stable on those longer runs. New Balance has truly captured a great balance between comfort and performance with these shoes.
