JOIN NOWIdeal for targeting the tight knots and tension relief like that of a deep tissue massage. Constructed with layers of foam, suitable for small muscles’ extreme fatigue recovery and performs at its best on hard surfaces.
The Trigger point MBX massage ball does the job it’s supposed to do. Like almost any other massage ball I’ve experienced, I was able to target the main muscle groups and it was gentle enough for the neck. I found the slip-resistant texture a little unforgiving – it doesn’t roll too well with loose clothing but works well on tighter fitted clothing –better on harder surfaces and walls. I found the foam surface quite unique and very dense yet still compressible. This is not suitable if I prefer a deeper massage.
I'm familiar with the nature of the ball and its usage in releasing pains. Although it contains features such as extra firm EVA foam compared to other massage balls, this would be great to target larger muscles. I wasn't concerned regarding the price point – as I knew this would be a beneficial and essential item to add to my kit. I would only be using this for short bursts of relief like after a run – rolling it under the calves feels so good! I would highly recommend this item to anyone who needs a firm massage ball that's easy to carry and use while targeting various parts of the body.
