I wouldn’t normally consider myself a brand ambassador for Hoka, given its MetaRocker technology feeling slightly strange to me in most of its range. The SkyFlow, however, pleasantly surprised me in that this effect became unnoticeable after a short while. Afterwards, I was left with an uber-soft feeling underfoot, with my feet feeling secure all around. I’ve since taken the SkyFlow with me on shorter, tempo runs to take advantage of its responsiveness.
Given how positively different the Hoka SkyFlow feels from its counterparts in road running shoes, I would recommend all types of runners to experience it. There is very little that could go wrong in a lightweight and liberally cushioned trainer, especially as Hoka has once more increased its focus on foot security and comfort.
