My trusted Brooks seem to never fail me in the pursuit of keeping fit and trying different styles of running, which is why I decided to venture into the world of cross-country with the Brooks Draft XC. As I hoped, the shoe felt great on the tough terrain I trialled it on, faring well in regard to both a strong grip and a comfortable, responsive landing. Having gone on more cross-country trips recently, the Draft XC has remained a trusty companion – one which I can sense will be long-lasting too.
Whether you’re an experienced racer or a novice, the Brooks Draft XC are a safe choice for cross-country sessions. The grip is exceptional, and the cushioning maintains a rare balance between plush and lightweight. I would recommend these as first preference, and not only because of my bias towards the design!
